This year our program is more exciting than ever before. We have included effective new neuroscience-based brain changing techniques to calm the mind and build resilience. Employees will learn evidence-based tools and practices for sleep and overcoming stress, anxiety, panic, trauma and depression. We are committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and helping employees improve their lives from the inside out.

What does the science say?

We know the brain can change.  Mindfulness strengthens pathways which enable us be more self-aware, present, emotionally stable and psychologically resilient. Compelling research has shown neuroscience-based mindfulness programs can lead to structural brain changes in the top three areas associated with mental health; the pre-frontal cortex, amygdala and the cingulate cortex. As well as this, we see significant positive changes in the size and function of the insula and hippocampus (areas of learning and memory and in regions associated with self-awareness, compassion and introspection). This can alleviate a wide range of physical and psychological difficulties such as stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, depression, migraines, heart conditions and diabetes.


Our 4 week program has been specifically developed to help employees learn and implement practical techniques for self-care, stress reduction, emotional regulation and psychological resilience. Through participation in this course participants learn evidence-based tools and strategies that literally build resilient brains! They will have opportunities to learn practices to:

  • Change the brain from the top down (i.e. using thoughts, journalling and positive psychology to change the brain).
  • Change the brain from the bottom up (i.e. working through the body and senses to change the brain).
  • Cope with the stresses of everyday life.
  • Deal with challenges and difficulties with more grace and composure.
  • Be fully present and happy, with a stable mind.

Course structure

One workshop will be held each week at your office/site. Each workshop is approximately one hour in duration. Employees receive ongoing access to online recordings and practices to cultivate positive behaviours and strengthen habits.
